Congratulations to Patricia Boulle, Special Education Teacher at Rindge Memorial School. Patricia Boulle has been awarded The Harris Center’s Educator of Year Award . She  is the first Special Education Teacher to receive this award. 

Patricia has partnered with the Harris Center over the years from participating in workshops, attending retreats, and giving students the opportunities to connect with nature.

In 2023 Patricia shared her experience with teachers from grades K-5th during the Harris Center’s “Teacher Talks” presentation series where she explained how she engages and prepares students for outdoor experiences.

“I think it is important to connect children to nature for many reasons - to know their own backyards, give them opportunities to explore and make observations, and allow for excitement in the natural world. I believe that if we help children to make connections to nature that they will become stewards and caregivers”-Patricia Boulle.
